I’m a goal-setter at heart. Without goals, I have little purpose and tend to float through my days without much intention. Aryelle, over at HorseHack, reminded me that I have not set any solid goals for riding this year. So, true to form, I have been floating along my riding routine with little purpose.
However, a certain little baby has sure slowed things down in my riding world, but when I take a step back, I realize that her life as a baby will only last a short time–and I don’t want to miss it. The funny thing is, I actually spend a lot of time with horses every single day, just not much time concentrating on my own. Boo. So, the first step in my plan is to rope-in a babysitter for consistent riding time each week. After that, here are the things I plan to concentrate on:
