Guys. Today my kids go back to school since winter break.
Don’t judge me! Christmas was a magical time full of memories, but they need to get back to school. Maybe I can finally catch-up on riding, reading my favorite horsey blogs, and get back to our normal Rocking E routine. This girl needs her routine.
During the break, I had an evolving inner dialogue about what I wanted to share with you guys when I finally had the time. I’ve been really excited about some of the neat-o horsey products I gifted and received for Christmas, so today I want to tell you about the cutest little bags made by K. Marie Equestrian.
Instagram is the coolest app ever. I love that it can set the stage for small businesses with no expensive storefront and free advertising. As a small business owner, I think that’s super rad. I found K. Marie Equestrian on Instagram and I’ve been following her for several months now, oogling over her handmade products. She makes the sweetest zipper bags, t-shirts, and other equestrian accessories.
Most of her products are english-y, so I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to snag one of those cute bags for someone else. When she had a sale on Black Friday, I seized the moment and ordered a bag for my hunter friend for Christmas. It arrived in a timely manner, well-packaged, and just as adorable as the pictures online. I chose the “No shame, grab mane” zipper bag after hearing my girlfriend talk about how excited she was that her horse was so powerful he “jumped her out of the saddle and she had to grab mane.” IT WAS MEANT TO BE.
I was so happy with it, I knew I wanted to share K. Marie with my horsey friends so you can check her stuff out! If you know me well, you’ll know that supporting small businesses is very important to me. These are our peeps! We need to love and support them. Because her products are handmade, her inventory changes from time-to-time, so you have to check back frequently! Thank you, Kyle, for a great gift! Maybe one day you’ll cross over to the western world and make some ranchy creations 🙂 I know I’d be smitten!
