Guys. I take Kona to the vet this afternoon to look at his eye, and I’m completely caught off-guard by how nervous I feel! I will give you a full report next week.
My barn bathroom revamp was on my project list for the summer, and I’m proud to say I actually got it all done by fall! I wanted to show you the results of my work. Here are some pictures to jog your memory of how the bathroom looked before I painted it:
It was dingy and dark and in desperate need of a makeover. Many of you said to paint it grey, but that would have required me to actually purchase paint! Ha! Like I’m going to do that! So, I rummaged through the paint my parents had leftover from other projects instead. I ended up mixing two colors, resulting in a light khaki color. Good enough for me!
I used a broom and cleaned out all the cobwebs, wiped down all the counters, and taped-off the trim and sink. Thank goodness it’s such a small space!
My mom also found an old mirror she doesn’t use and offered it up for the bathroom revamp. I’ve never had a big mirror in the bathroom, and I wondered if I even wanted to look at myself when I was working… But, for the sake of my boarders, I decided to use it. I taped it off and painted it with some hand-me-down turquoise paint just for funsies.
Then, I perused Pinterest for some fun toilet paper and paper towel holder ideas. My inspo:
And this is how it all turned out!
I think it turned out pretty cute! And much cleaner 😉
