Welcome to Rocking E! I’m overcome when I think about how blessed I am to have such a dreamy place to call my home and business. I admit, sometimes I’m also overwhelmed! Not only does my little family live on the ranch, we also operate a boarding business for local residents in our Oklahoma town.
Rocking E has two stall barns that comfortably house 25 horses, and we also have some horses outside on pasture. Altogether, I can care for a maximum of 35 horses, and I usually keep it pretty full! Almost all of my boarders are university students, and I like to think that keeps me young 😉
I don’t like to discriminate between riding disciplines, so I welcome english riders and western riders alike with open arms! One of my absolute favorite sights to see is when different disciplines mingle in the arena. I love watching from a distance, and witnessing them learn from each other and appreciate each other in their individually unique ways! One of my boarders snapped this picture before tacking up. I love it! On the left we have our resident giant, Jack, and on the right we have Rocking E’s littlest reiner, Little Horse. This picture perfectly shows the diversity at Rocking E!
We have an interesting cast of characters here at Rocking E.
Don’t be surprised if you see children in the barn! Specifically, these two cuties. Everyday is take-your-kid-to-work-day when you’re a barn owner! I think it’s the best way to grow up, personally. Hot, steamy days in the barn are what build character, if you ask me!
We can’t forget our four-legged furry barn friends. We’ve got spoiled-rotten barn kitties…
We’ve got playful doggies…
And even a few egg-layers!
